Our Leadership Team
Ron Hefley
Ron co-founded ASC Group in May 2015 to help create an organization that offers a financially and personally rewarding work environment, while simultaneously delighting our customers. Ron has more than 15 years of laboratory, sales, and management experience. He holds a BS in Chemistry, an MS in Analytical Chemistry, and an MBA in Finance. Ron provides a unique perspective of analytical technical competence combined with a focus and comprehension of relevant business metrics.
Virgil Settle
Virgil joined ASC Group as a Managing Partner in July 2015. He came to ASC with a broad background that included experience as a chemist in two R&D laboratories, as well as 16 years of sales experience in analytical laboratory equipment. He has over 10 years of experience in sales management, which included managing a combination of direct employees and manufacturer's representatives. Virgil holds a BS in Chemistry from UNC Charlotte. He brings together the crucial combination of management and sales experience needed to lead our diverse and professional sales team.
